GCDC is accepting applications for our Yazoo County YouthBuild program. The program provides a meaningful “second chance” for area youth to earn their GED and gain valuable vocational skills and job-readiness training to increase their employability upon graduation.
Sponsored by GCDC since 2019, YCYB has serviced nearly 25 at-risk youth ages 16-24. Learn more below, and please help spread the word!
If you love working with youth and believe in addressing the core issues facing low-income communities, such as housing, education, employment, crime prevention, and leadership development, join the Yazoo County YouthBuild (YCYB) team as a Mentor and help us prepare Yazoo County youth for success.
